I think it’s a slick little whip. I could see future Mrs. FiSTer rocking one of these.

I like the look (pre face lift) and that they could be had with a diesel, but literally nothing else about it.

I’ve never driven one, but I like the way they look. Which should hold a little weight because I’m generally “anti-cedes”. All the way up to the AMG G’s, those I love haha.

I’ve always liked the GLK because of it’s boxy-angular looks. Sort of like a super small G Wagen. The best one they’ve made thus far is the 2014-2015 which is also the last MY as the new GLC started hitting dealerships this week.

Some people have taken delivery already:

The house opposite me has a white GLK350. It’s a nice looker (pre facelift). However I personally prefer nearly every competing model. The replacement, which is called the GLC, looks much better and should be a vast improvement. If buying new, and you don’t mind missing out on the incentives on the old one, I’d get the GLC.

As soon as I saw the GLC, I thought of it the same way I thought of the facelifted Forester. Boxy is good; why y’all gotta mess that up?

The boxy original versions of both vehicles look proud and tall. The revised versions just look hunched down and slumpy.

Can’t lie, in my pictures I posted the GLC makes the GLK look ancient. To be fair it is 4 years newer than the 2012 next to it but still. They’ve done a lot both inside, out and fuel efficiency wise.

I drove one for all of 30 minutes a couple years ago. Quick with the V6, handles ok. Nothing else of note.

To be honest I’ve not liked any Mercedes from the last ten years.

Then I saw a GLA the other day. It was silver and filthy with whels caked in brake dust but it looked so great.

It doesn’t look awfully generic.

That’s all the positivism I can come up with about this car.

Evidently, Brabus has had their hands on them as well.

I like the way the GLK’s look, might be worth test driving one at the Benz dealer.

I remember getting into the back seat wasn’t so great. Never drove one or have been out in one, but I’d buy one

my dad loves his. he literally only bought it because its a box and not a jelly bean. inside is small, noticeably more so than our first crv. very quiet and sturdy. feels like a bank vault. acceleration is good but in a completely different way than my focus. handling is flat. controls are more complicated than id like. you have to pay extra for shit that’s standard on my focus like HID keyless entry lane watch push to start etc. don’t cheap out but don’t buy new either

Wow, I really prefer the GLK in those photos to the GLC. Also thy new name makes it sound like a type of cancer or bowel disease or something.

I’ve never cared for the various SUVs and crossovers that Mercedes has offered (except the ridiculous G63 AMG 6x6, because how can you not love something that insane?). Not sure why that is, but compared to their german contemporaries at Audi, BMW and Porsche, I’ve just always never given a second thought to MB.

I hate the way they look. In my opinion, you’d be wasting money on nothing more than a bunch of badges. Drove a CR-V a few years back - very nice. What about the smaller Volvo SUV? Surely there are other things in the segment that are better.

Those pics were the only ones with the two cars side by side. The GLK has the sport package and therefore has a different front fascia and it has the lighting package the GLC is base which to me doesn’t look as good as the Sport package version which looks like this:

Either way the GLK still is NOT ugly.

Lol green from barfing maybe but seriously the lighting might be making it look different, it is definitely the same boring ass beige that you’d find on a Camry:

Probably the same Harmon Kardon system in my C300. Which I agree sounds pretty fantastic. Even the first time I played some songs on it I was like well damn!

I like it, at least in terms of aesthetics. It's like what the ML would've looked like if it wasn't blobby and gross. Haven't driven one though, so I don't know if it's brilliant or not.

It’s a nice boxy thing that isn’t a blob, so I’ll give it credit for that. It’s saddled with 4000+ lbs. of weight, so it’s not particularly fuel-efficient. The interior is a nice retro-MB theme so everything has sharp angles. It’s very well made. I despise the sluggish powertrain response and the fact that a Honda CR-V has more room, but that’s just me.

My mother has one. Take that as a positive or negative, your choice!

One of my dad’s friends from work bought a diesel one last year. After 17K miles, there was an issue with the check engine light or something, and the dealer didn’t know how to fix it. He traded it in for a gas GLK. However, the dealer gave him a ton of stuff, which he gave to my dad for me. I have two dealer hats, a dealer pen, and two dealer key chains. When you buy luxury, you get stuff.
